Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Samuel Chang is a filmmaker currently enrolled at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, Maryland.

Chang’s works as well as collaborated projects have been showcased in the US, Asia, and abroad, including Festivals and Competitions such as the IASAS Film Category in Southeast Asia, Los Angeles Short Film Awards in LA, New/Next Film Festival in Baltimore, and the RED Movie Awards in Reims.

Chang received the honor of Visionary Scholarship from MICA in 2021, and is set to earn his BFA in Film & Video in the Fall of 2025.
